Hello all,
As you all know that we are heading towards
an exciting tournament where our samaj bandhus display their talent & skill with bat &ball we would therefore
like to share some thoughts from our side on this. Basically organizing cricket
tournament was just a backdoor thinking from our side to make our bandhus get
together and know each other as well as spend some quality time together which
in many cases rarely happened in our samaj. Since it rarely happened, we saw
that our youngsters were drifting away from our samaj and were technically
getting disconnected and disoriented. It was rather a serious issue which seems
to have gone unnoticed.
From time to time it is mandatory that
we update and upgrade ourselves provided we retain the cultural and traditional
essence which defines who we are. But in due course of time we due to uncertain
reasons have lagged behind in keeping our traditions with time. We can say that
it can be one of the reasons why youths of our society are drifting away or
rather looking other way around. Keeping these things in mind our first thought
was to get youth of our samaj get together on a common platform. Hence we came
up with this method of organizing a cricket tournament as many are cricket
frenzy including myself. This season is fourth time we are conducting cricket tournament on such scale and every time we made sure that we up the level so
that we can catch up with time as soon as possible. We can count on its success
as we managed to get hundreds of youth of our samaj gather at a common place
and spend quality time together (which never happened before) with cherishing
moments and also we tried to create an atmosphere where the buzz to get
involved in a team or a captain of a team getting desperate to get best player for
his team been talk of our youth lately.
All this could happen apart from our
effort is because of some large hearted people of our samaj who came forward
and contributed on their part so that we could conduct tournament in such a
grand and in a smooth manner. It is not that this event is sponsored by a
single person. Every individual have contributed either by team fees or some
way or other which has been unique in itself. It thus makes this tournament being
conducted by me to "US". We on behalf of Yuva sangathan wholeheartedly express
our gratitude for their contribution.
I also request all our samaj bandhus who
are playing for their team to show respect for fellow opponents and encourage
each other so that the bonding impact it makes last long for days to come. Let
the excitement creep in and make our bonding stronger than ever. Har Har Mahadev !
